WOW! I can not express how impressed was with the service, knowledge and quality that Heckadon Roofing provided to me. Hands down, He is probably the best roofer in North Texas. James Heckadon takes considerable pride in his workmanship. He is insured, bonded, TOTALLY reliable runner up for most ethical business in North Texas by the BBB. He would be my first choice If I had to do it again. BTW, I was roofed by a fly-by -nite roofer, only to have to re-roof 6 months later. I got many quotes and his was the most honest and accurate of all. Further, he,'s a genuine nice guy that will be present and on the job when the work is performed. Look no further. Call and Trust this Man. Addendum 4 years later: Inspectors came to review the house prior to home sale. They questioned the roofing, James came immediately and demonstrated the roofing was correct and they were in error. He did minor touch ups at no charge even though the roof was 2 years out of warranty.

Heckadon coordinated related interior and exterior repairs to my specification prior to a full roof replacement, exhibiting good materials and craftsmanship. He worked with suppliers to get quality metalwork custom fabricated to complete an aesthetic 6,400 sq ft roof.

I've known the owner for some years, because we used to be neighbors. But nevertheless, he has replaced my roof, windows, etc from hail damage several times. We had an outstanding experience working with Heckadon Roofing and Construction and I cannot recommend this company enough. After a hail storm in early June required a new roof, window and screen replacement, A/C combing, fence repairs and siding/exterior paint, a colleague recommended that we contact James. As first time homeowners, the claim and repair process was an uncomfortable and a brand new territory. James took the time to explain the insurance process, walk the house with the adjuster, and educate us on what needed to be done. We were traveling during a large part of the work and James coordinated absolutely everything.The work was performed on-time as promised and the results are high quality.
